On Thursday, 30th of March,2017, in the presence of the Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin Abdi Jamil, the president of Zakho University, and the participated professors, the deans of colleges and faculties, lecturers and students of the University of Zakho, the second day of the International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Humanities at Zakho University under the slogan "Aylol Revolution in Local and Foreign Journalism 1961_1975" took place.

At the beginning of the conference, the participated professors delivered their researches according to the time given to them and then the attendances had long discussions about the researches that were presented. At the end of these discussions, the president of Zakho delivered a speech in Kurdish and Arabic on the conclusion of the conference. In his speech, he warmly welcomed the participants and the guests. Likewise, he thanked the Conference Organizing Committee for their efforts in preceding this conference and wished them ever lasting success.

On the other hand, the president of Zakho University honored the participants of the conference and thus concluding the First International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Humanities at Zakho University.
